January 8th to February 20th, 2009 After School Programs at Doty

123 Computer Club- This class will be offered to k, 1, 2 & 3 grade students on Mondays. Content will include drawings and other techniques they can use to WOW their teacher and friends! Staring Tuesday, January12th and goes for 5 weeks.

Clay – Come play and create with clay! We will be creating realistic objects with textures and definition. The clay used, will be Sculpey clay that can be reused or baked. Starting Tuesday, January 13th and goes for 6 weeks, $10 materials fee applies.

PageMasters - The PageMasters reading group will be starting on Wednesday the 14th of January for a 6 week session. The materials for this session will be mysteries and brain twisters. We have a lot of 5-10 minute Whodunits, riddles and math minders. This group will have activities that bring the books and short stories to life. Clay, drawings and skits too.  $10 materials fee applies.

Sledding- On Thursdays join us for fast and furious (but only as fast and furious as they want), sliding down the back hill. We may venture to other local sliding hills if weather and snow levels permit, parents will be notified ahead of time. Thursdays starting, January 8, 2009 for 7 weeks.

Snowboarding- Kids will learn the basics of snowboarding on Fridays! Kids will start on the small slope behind the school, we may also venture to other local sliding hills for this activity, if weather and snow levels permit, and parents will be notified ahead of time. This is a 7 week class. Equipment may be available or shared depending on size and number of students. Starts January 9th.
